Install kariops pulse

Add the pulse connector in Claude.

kariops pulse tracks whether your brand shows up in Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini answers. Add it as a connector in Claude, tell Claude what your business is, and Claude walks you through registering the brand, drafting the questions we scan for, and running your first visibility check. You never need to memorize a command.

BYOK

Bring your own API keys for Claude, OpenAI, Perplexity, and Gemini. Encrypted at rest with per-user keys. You pay your own providers directly; kariops never charges for engine calls.

Read + draft only

pulse reads the scan history in your pulse account and drafts page-copy fixes. It never writes to your CMS, your repos, or any other system you control.

If you landed here from the Anthropic Directory, this is the first step. You will add your API keys next at /keys. If you started at /keys, this is Step 3 of that flow. Either way, the wizard picks up where you leave off.

What happens after install

Once the connector is added, tell Claude what your business is. Claude runs the interview, drafts your tracking questions, confirms them with you, and runs your first scan.

For example

  • I run a case management SaaS for small law firms called Casewire. Help me track my AI visibility.
  • I have a food truck in Portland. Add it to kariops-pulse.
  • I am a therapist in Austin taking new clients. Do I show up when people ask AI for a therapist recommendation?

In Claude on the web

  1. 01

    Open Claude.ai in another tab

Keep this tab open and open claude.ai in a new tab so you can come back here when the connector is installed.

  2. 02

    Click your profile, then Settings

In Claude, click your profile (bottom left), then Settings.

  3. 03

Click Connectors in the left sidebar

Inside Settings, click Connectors in the left sidebar.

  4. 04

    Click Add custom connector

Scroll to the bottom of the Connectors page and click Add custom connector.

  5. 05

    Paste the MCP server URL

Paste https://pulse.kariops.com/api/mcp as the connector URL.

  6. 06

    Complete the OAuth flow

Claude will open a sign-in window. Sign in with the same account you use on the kariops pulse dashboard and approve the read permission. This lets the connector read the scan history in your own pulse account. It does not read your Claude conversations or anything else in your Anthropic account.

  7. 07

    Finish setup at /keys

Go to pulse.kariops.com/keys to add your API keys and run your first scan. If you started at /keys, the wizard picks up where you left off.

In Claude Desktop

Open Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Use the same MCP server URL above. The OAuth flow and dashboard steps are identical to the web flow.

In Claude Code

Claude Code users can add pulse as a plugin with a slash-command interface. Run the install command in any Claude Code session.

claude mcp add kariops-pulse https://pulse.kariops.com/api/mcp

Once added, the /check-my-pulse and /draft-visibility-fix commands are available in every session.

After your first scan.

Tell Claude show me my results or how do I improve my visibility and Claude will pull the report and draft page-copy fixes. You apply the fixes.
